here's what i came across this week Acer outlines Jelly Bean upgrade plans, older tablets being left out in the cold | Android Central
i'm dissapointed:@
works fine on mine until i go into settings, same as reported above, crashes everytime. had to uninstall. will reinstall in a couple of weeks to see if the wrinkles have been ironed out.
Well mine is doing this too but no t tied to apps at all. It does it when I go to the pay store and try to update any previously installed app. As soon as the update starts to download, the screen...
put touch pal on phone and tablet a few weeks ago and am loving it. was so used swyping that when i was using the tablet and wanted to type something (anything) i always swyped first and then would...
thank you very much.
And I also have a question, if I disable an app, is there any way re re-enable it without having to fdr?
Well after reading thru this thread decided to check my a100 and sure enough maps was running and showed 26% of battery. So I just went into settings and uninstalled all updates to maps. Now back...
thank you so much. i knew i was missing something simple.
I've done it once but that was a several months ago .as I recall, it accomplished the same thing as battery pull on a phone.
Said the ics update, the little x'a are missing when I pull up the items in the notification tray and I can't figure out how to close them out. seems my only option is to launch. What an I missing...
You can also back up apps in astro. I found this to be really helpful back when I had mabilo installed on my eris and Google pulled it of the market. Just another reason astro is always the first...

sorry i didn't get back to you sooner, but i've been keeping 5 grandchildren all week. the only thing left to do is factory data reset which almost always fixes stuff. i did that myself about 6...
Welcome to the forum. Go into settings> applications> manage apps then scroll down to each app, select it and then clear data and cache.
well i guess we'll never know why some got the update and some didn't. i'm not having any issues so i don't really care whether i've got 3.2 or 3.2.1 as long as i still get 4.0 when it finally drops.
i too am complete stock. i did a factory reset a few weeks back. lost homescreen settings, i.e. wallpapers and icon and widget placement, but all apps automatically redownloaded. took about 15 to 20...
also, remember that we are due for that upgrade to 4.0 sometime soon and if you have anything frozen or deleted it can interfer with the update. probably best to ignore the bloatware until after the...
thanks for all the help guys. side loaded and am good to go with google play.
