Times you were in serious danger

Interested in hearing about this - what happened, how you got into the situation, how you got out. Anything from war zones to medical emergencies.
Don't have much to add myself, I'm sure you guys must have some good stories. Go ahead!

I was 9, I was sitting on a high railing, and some little dude told me not to sit there, so I ignored him. I fell, and I busted my head open on a fence. I was knocked out for a few seconds, but I was really bloody.

Great man! Some old lady told this dude that was about 20 to help me to the emergency center(I was at a waterpark). I went to the hospital, with a severe concussion, and 2 stitches to close the wound. I lost a pint of blood. I learned to listen to people instead of being an ignorant jackass.
