I got an Acer Iconia A100 8GB about a month ago. I'm really enjoying it so far. I have it rooted and am using the memory swap mod and build prop mod from the xda forum. No complaints to date. I chose it based on reviews, specs, size, and price point.

My previous android experience is the Huawei Ideos S7. It was a nice tablet, had it for about 13 months, and I got into rooting, custom roms, and all that.

I've been a pc geek since the late 80s (yes, I'm dating myself).

I'm looking forward to contributing to the forum.
