Feel oudated

Hi. Just got the tablet few weeks ago. I'm trying to connet to my PC. Then I see that I have to download a synchronising program. Apologies for all the mispellings and the fault, I'm french Canadian, so...
Ayway, I feel like the old guy that I am. I was hoping that I would just see an icon and then I could download stuff from my PC to the tablet, but it's a little more complicated than that. Help

welcome to the forum. wish i could help with your issue but i've had my tablet since early december and have yet to plug it up to the pc. maybe one of the really smart people will be along shortly and can help.

Go to the Acer website and go you your tablet model, the drivers should be there for you to download and install.

First of all, what OS you are running?
Second, what is the reason you are connecting your tablet to the PC? You want to synchronize or you want to put movies/songs to the tablet?

To put videos/music/pictures to the tablet you don't need to install any program or driver. When you connect the tablet to the PC via the USB cable, it will be automatically recognized as a USB device and will be shown under 'My Computer' as a USB storage device.

There, find your 'Movies', 'Music', or 'Pictures' folder and place your appropriate files there. That's all.
