I'm also having microphone volume issues since last night's update. I wish there were someone who could tell us how to increase the volume, rather than making us all perform a Factory Reset. That's a cop-out if I ever heard one. Step Up, ACER!
hi, i must say this thread has breen a depressing read. I too have volume problems I can't hear any recordings via the mic. I rang support and they asked Me to doa factory reset. Will this really help? Skype is unusable the video recordings sound is so so bad. Will they give my money back if this can't be fixed?, my Acer a501 is still under warrant
I had a long chat with them a month or so back. They described the low volume microphone as a "feature" and that it was performing correctly. He did suggest that I reset it all
After the long talk, he wanted me to send it in (at my expense) but I already fully understood their position -- the tablet is performing correctly and they had no interest in fixing it![]()
