Greg, I followed your instructions to the letter using my Toshiba Satellite A205-S5843 (32 bit) laptop running Ubuntu 11.10. And surprisingly... it worked the first time! Am I ever jazzed. Too frequently, I have found instructions usually don't work for me out of the box. I was prepared to do some tweaking. Anyway, thank you for the time you put out in writing clear, detailed instructions. They were much appreciated.

    Greetings all,

I found this thread due to having problems connecting my A200 to Ubuntu 10.10. Tried most everything previously posted here but ended up with the dreaded "end points" error message. Grrr. Then I found this:

[How to] Connect your Android Ice Cream Sandwich Phone to Ubuntu for File Access

To my joy, this worked! Now, however, an ls reveals only a single directory named "Playlists" (same appears in Nautilus) and it's empty.

Anybody got a clue about this? Is the A200 so sandboxed that this is the only thing they'll give us access to??

While all this works perfectly running on Ubuntu and Linuxmint, it doesnt work on Xubuntu, I did this two times, both on Linuxmint, maybe is because of the file manager (Thunar and Nautilus) nevertheless excellent work.
