Yeah, that's what I'm trying to know. I think they're at 4.1.2 now. I got updated from ICS to 4.1.0 then a few days ago, got a little 3mb update to 4.1.1. I don't see anything different

I found this at Nexus Tablets from when they got 4.1.1:

This new update brings with it Google Wallet, as well as some general performance improvements. Here's part of Google's description, "improves performance and responsiveness system wide."

There is very little changes that most users will notice in these incremental updates (4.1.0 to 4.1.1)

The latest version is 4.2.X which is out on most of the Nexus devices.

    Re: Android 4.1.1

Don't know if this is new to 4.1.1, but I found if you drag up from the home button, it will bring up a direct link to Google Now.

I stumbled on this little nugget by accident this week. Nice feature, real quick to check the traffic before I commute to work in the mornings.

XDA is reporting that A510 users are getting 4.1.2, so we shouldn't be far behind (i.e. weeks). They also report that Acer will be giving us 4.2 in the spring of 2013. I'm guessing that would be the last major update for the A700 (which suits me fine - I'm actually quite happy where we are now), or at the very last they'll give us Key Lime Pie before moving on.

The A700 continues to be a great machine for its (decreasing) price point, I've no intention to upgrade to a Nexus 10 or Infinity or whatever else currently in the pipeline...

This is my first tab and I am really jacked. I take it with me everywhere. This takes tablets to a whole now level of functionality. This year, tablests are the most desired item on the Xmas wish list

I'm still haveing SD Card problemss centering around deleting folders and it doesn't play nice with Windows Explorer. My other issue is the teeny-tiny app text size; that is a real barrier

However, there are some hardware upgrades that I would like to see. A rear camera upgrade with macro, a rear light both availalble on phones, a 701 modem and wirking SIM card slot upgrade, a keyboard/usb port dock like the RT Surface and digital pen input capability

Interesting thing about the Adobe Reader, you get drawing capability that seems to be better than Autodesk

If Android could upgrade to a full function OS and Nvidia develops apace, I'll be looking at an Acer "Convertible" like the Dell as my desktop replacement in 2017

Acer is really coming up in the world

What is "Amazing photo Sphere Camera"?
