There sure aren't many reviews on this thing, so I'll go ahead and throw out my initial impression based on half a day of use. I'm using my ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 as comparison.

    Pros:
+ Nice bright screen, "cool" tint.
    + Excellent true stereo speakers
    + Fast (hey, it's a Tegra 3)
+ Micro USB Port (and full size USB adapter)
+ Solid feel and build quality
+ Buttons easy to use, ergonomic
+ WiFi and even GPS work extremely well.
+ You can actually get one NOW if you want it.

    Cons:
    - LCD not quite as crisp or bright as the TF201 IPS+ Display, which also has a "warmer" tint to it.
    - Faint "grid" effect noticeable on certain images (very minor, up close, but it's there)
    - Quite noticeably heavy, and much thicker.
    - No Flash (eh...)
    - Hot*

I'm adding a * to that last Con as I'm quite certain this is a defect. I measured 105+ degrees at the back/right side of the device. I'm not sure what's over there, but that's WAY too hot. I'm expecting a replacement device Friday; I'll update when it arrives. Then hopefully I can make a decision as to which to keep... the TF201, or A510.

I got mine on Tue via UPS from Amazon, and so far I'm very impressed! I am coming from an Acer Iconia Tab A200, and this is faster, lighter and superior in many ways.

Hi, could you explain or add a picture about the grid effect? And what did you mean about "flash" ? , it's about the camera or are you talking about web pages?

I hope your new device has not the hot issue... Tell us when you get your new replacement device.

    Thanks

Got mine from Amazon today--went home during lunch to pick it up.

The first thing I noticed is how fast and responsive the A510 is.

The screen is great. The grid mentioned above is only visible to me, while outside in bright sunlight. It is much less visible than on the A500. I won't use it in bright sunlight anyway. I tried to see it in a number from my desk at work with the screen at different brightness levels. Maybe once or twice i could see a hint of the grid, but nothing I would even notice if I wasn't searching for it.

The only reason I used it outside today was to test the GPS. After the Transformer Prime, this was a nice change. It locked onto 12 satellites in a couple of minutes and located me to less than twenty feet. May have gotten better if I'd hung around, but I learned what I wanted to know.

The WiFi is very fast. Speedtest gave me numbers in the 20 mbit/sec range on download. I've never a download speed this fast on a tablet before.

It is also VERY fast. It downloaded and installed 71 apps in less than ten minutes.

I ran a system benchmark test and it edged the Transformer Prime.

On the downside, I don't see a way to simultaneously charge it and use the USB connection--not a big deal to me, but it will be to some people.

It does get warm while charging. It isn't hot, just warm. Having the batteries heat up is normal and I don't much care.

Did I mention that it is fast?

I also like the thickness. A little thinner than the a500 or a200, but not too thin like the Transformer prime or iPad 2/3. Seriously. I find the REALLY thin devices to be uncomfortable to hold, but the a500 was just a bit too thick. We are definitely moving into the Goldilocks area of just right for my hands.

And finally, it's pretty darn fast.

Yeah i meant the lack of camera flash. I'll see if I can get the grid effect to show up in a picture. Imagine looking through a screen door or really close to an old tube television; except much less noticeable of course. And it is always there if you look close enough. But we're talking like 6" in front your face. I'm more concerned if I notice it during normal usage.

I endorse the previous message. I have to doubly agree on fast thing, it is much faster and definitely snappier than my A200 was.
