I have used Skimoni before and their quality and customer service are both top notch.

Skimoni is a good brand, I have it installed on my Motorola Atrix and I'm very happy with it.

How did the skinomi screen protector work for you? I'm leaning toward the dry apply type.

    Skinomi Wet

I put the Skinomi wet on and am satisfied with it. I managed to get a pretty clean install, it feels nice to the touch (not sticky or rubbery) and was an excellent fit. I chose to put a screen protector on since the tablet does not have Gorilla Glass. My Epic Touch has gorilla glass and I've managed a couple hair line scratches before putting a wet skinomi on it -- I believe this is from wearing earrings and talking on the phone -- which is highly unlikely with the tablet, but I really didn't want to chance it.

I will feel better when the case actually arrives too!! For now, I've pretty much restricted my tablet use to the house but with the kids out of school today we'll be doing a lot more outdoor stuff and I would like it protected.

As far as I can find out, it does use Gorilla Glass, they use it on the A100 and A500, so I can't imagine them cheaping out on their flagship tablet. I will keep searching and post back more when I find it.

I also went with the Wet apply, I tried the dry but it was a DISASTER, there was absolutely no room for error and it bunched up on me before I could do anything, so I ended up getting the wet apply from Skinomi. By the way, their customer service is awesome!

Skinomi Dry also a disaster for me. I am fairly experienced installing protectors on various cell phones, so I was surprised at how awkward and unforgiving installation was with Skinomi Dry. Ended with numerous bubbles that couldn't be smoothed out with the included device. Bubbles mildly improved but still in place 2 weeks later. Smoothing device left an abrasion on the protector that did not come out. As stated above, Skinomi tech support was responsive and helpful in this process.

Bigger problem was touch screen sensitivity after application. I had a noticeable change after my Skinomi Dry, to the point that the screen was almost completely unresponsive when flat on a hard surface such as a table or desk, or in portrait mode in a vertical holder. Unfortunately I installed the Acer firmware update the same day I put on the screen protector, and blamed it on the firmware. (See XDA forums or Youtube "Acer Iconia A510 problem" for similar discussion/video). Long story short, when I finally removed the Skinomi the touch screen response improved dramatically; I was shocked it made such a difference as I've never had that type of problem with a protector before.

It took me a while to figure out the touch screen issue as I usually hold the tablet in my hands, where the screen response problem was far less evident (but still present). Those of you using Skinomi's: please test your A510's flat on a table or portrait mode in a vertical holder. Any screen response issues at all? Your response appreciated. Still trying to determine whether my issue was primarily the protector, or whether the A510 itself was also to blame.

I tried a generic Write-Rite screen protector from walmart although it worked on my A500 the A510 hated it. no responsee at all in the edges I lifted up one corner and the response was fine. I then tried clear contact paper stll lousy touch response. I the tried Food wrap as it is very thin it worked, but I wouldn't trust food wrap anyway. Currently I am not using any screen protector. There is Dynaflow Liquid Armor, but if it ddoes not work you cannot remove it. Acer neeeds to do a sensitivity update.
