*I'm on Windows 7, btw... in case it matters. Tablet is updated with official ICS.
And thanks for the hard work on this!

Ok, I think I'm screwed...
I did this easy root and all was well. Downloaded superuser and Link2Sd and a few other things. Well I found a setting on Link2SD that allowed me to supposedly save downloaded files directly to external storage. But it wouldn't work. So in frustration, I deleted link2sd and superuser...
Fast forward to today I tried to download an app and it said "insufficient free space" and I couldn't download. I realized that the setting I did on Link2Sd to save on to external memory "stuck" even though I uninstalled the program. So now I can't redownload superuser (or any app) so I can set the setting back to internal memory. Nothing can be installed...
Is there any hope?
oops think i just bricked my a200 with this. all went well until the reboot after flashing the boot image. now the screen is messed up and it wont boot. says acer logo twice side by side. only got it yesterday so ill see if they will take it back if i say it was doa. does it make any difference that i have the uk model
I tried to root my a200 and it won't let me or maybe i'm not doing it right..
so the problem is when I connect it to USB cable, it brings up menu option and I know that I'm connected from pc to table, then I click on simple.bat, which opens the command window and nothing happens after that, it just sits there.....
can anyone help me to solve out this problem??
I'm on stock Honeycomb and I'm an idiot I didn't read that it was for ICS. The simple.bat flashed the boot image then said rebooting device but when it rebooted it says the acer logo twice side by side and looked like an old monitor when you had it on the wrong resolution I left it on this screen for 20 mins and nothing happened. so i turned it off and it now just does that every time it boots.
