A200: Seperating LCD screen from digitizer glass. Advice needed.
Standard case of broken screen. The LCD unit under the glass is fine, but the digitizer panel is dead on all areas near the crack. Already disassembled the main body of the tablet, all wiring and other components are intact and working. At the moment I've already found a good dozen online retailers who can either sell me the Digitizer screen alone, or the LCD and Digitizer all in one.
Before buying, I want to see if the glass panel can successfully be separated from the LCD underneith. Advice on how to do so VERY much needed. I'm aware the two parts are bonded and secured with double sided adhesive tape to the body. I don't care if the process further cracks the glass, I'm just concerned on saving the LCD screen.
Please and thank you, Skunk.
P.S. I have already viewed the replacement video on youtube, and I already know how to disassemble the main body. I'm only concerned about removing the glass from the frame and separating the glass from the LCD without damaging it.
